AERIAL PLATFORM
OPERATORS.
Hanging truss, placing banners, focusing lights: a lot of event work happens at height. You need someone who is allowed to operate the machine, and knows how.
Anyone who operates a boom or scissor lift for us holds the attest for that machine. We keep each crew member’s attests on file, with expiry dates.
WHICH ATTEST FOR WHICH MACHINE.
Scissor lift
Level 1: scissor lift. Attest AV-003 or IPAF 3a. For working straight up: banners, ceilings, lighting.
Boom lift
Level 2: boom lift. Attest IS-005 or IPAF 3b. For reaching out and over obstacles.
Fall protection
Fall protection / work at height attest (AV-006 / IS-009). For crew working in a harness.
Working with a telehandler? That’s a different attest: see telehandler operators.
SAFE AT HEIGHT.

We check every attest, including its expiry date, before it goes on a crew member’s profile.
