INTERNSHIPS · STRAIGHT ANSWER

NO
INTERNSHIPS.

01 / Why not

We regularly get asked whether you can do an internship at Hands 4 Events. Thanks for thinking of us. The answer is no, and that deserves an honest explanation.

Our work has no fixed hours. We often work nights, weekends and public holidays. One week there are five shows on the schedule, the next week none. A load-out can end at 4 AM and the next job starts that same evening.

A good internship needs structure: fixed days, a mentor with time, a learning track your school can follow. We can't offer that. Not because we don't want to, but because our schedule simply doesn't allow it. An intern deserves better than waiting by the phone to hear if the job is on.

02 / The alternative

WHAT WE CAN DO.

Are you 18+ and want a taste of real crew work? Then just join us as a paid crew member, on the days that suit you. You'll learn the trade the way everyone here did: on the floor, with a day rate instead of an internship report. Sign up via the jobs page.

OTHER QUESTIONS?
ALWAYS WELCOME.

Working on a school assignment, a thesis or a question about the event industry? Feel free to mail us. Interviews, facts about crew work, how a load-in really works: we're happy to help where we can. We do make time for that.

One more thing

One more thing. We don't reply to internship request emails. A good intern checks the website first, and then you'll read this.
