Takes five minutes. No need to email us.
Become crewNO RUT.
ALL GRIND.
Working at Hands 4 Events is no rut, but it is grind. No two days the same, no boss at a distance. Our leads are on the floor themselves, and you stand on shows people pay money to get into.
Work on real productions
Festivals, arenas, TV shows. Sportpaleis, Rock Werchter, Graspop, Studio 100. You are there while it is being built.
Flexible scheduling
Through our own planning tool. You set your availability, we send calls. No obligation, but solid agreements.
Crew that is crew
No temp-agency vibe. Our chiefs know your name, know what you can do and build along.
NO CV HASSLE.
JUST THESE BASICS.
- 18+ and your paperwork in order (day contract, flexi card, student contract or VAT number)
- Show up on time. A call is a call.
- Physical work does not scare you: pushing flight cases, rolling cables, long hours on your feet, a blister on your little toe and stiff muscles the next day
- Dutch or English, preferably both
- You can do early, you can do late, you can do nights, and you stay longer when needed
- You bring your own steel-toe work boots and work clothes. Helmet, gloves and hi-vis are on us where needed
- You speak up when something feels unsafe. Always
- You come to work. Want to see the show? Buy a ticket
- VCA certificate
- Experience in events, theatre, stage technology or logistics
- Forklift or aerial work platform certificate
- Driving licence B or more
- Knowledge of rigging, truss or backline
- Own transport
Experience is nice to have, not a must. Motivation and grit weigh just as much.

STATUS AND
PAYMENT
We work with two tracks. No in-betweens.
Freelance
You invoice through your own company or sole proprietorship with a VAT number. Intermediary platforms and payroll organisations like Smart, Tentoo or Amplo are not accepted.
Through our payroll partner
No VAT number of your own? Then your contract and your pay run through AbsoluteYou, our fixed partner. You register there yourself. They arrange day contract, flexi or student status, depending on your situation.
